About the Symposium
Shaping the Future of Menopause Care in Canada
A one-day national forum connecting emerging Canadian evidence with clinical expertise, lived experience and cross-sector perspectives. Through research presentations, moderated panels and audience discussion, the symposium will explore how Canada can strengthen menopause care, information, workplace support, research and policy.
The symposium will share emerging insights from the Can-RISE Study, a national study examining experiences of perimenopause, menopause and post-menopause across Canada. These findings will help inform future research, health care, education, workplace practices and public policy.
Despite growing awareness, substantial gaps remain in menopause research, public understanding, clinical care and workplace support. This event will bring together evidence and experience to identify practical opportunities for improving outcomes for women and gender-diverse people across Canada.
